- Placarding of Vehicles, Freight Container, Carry Boxes and IBC’s Stowage and Segregation
- Transport Procedures
- Characteristics and Hazards of Explosives Divisions 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5
- Fire Fighting
- Documentation
Assessments
Candidates must demonstrate competence in all areas.
On successful completion of the course you will receive a Statement of Attainment from: -
CERTIFICATE III TRANSPORT & DISTRIBITION (ROAD TRANSPORT)
TLI D15 07D - Identify and Label Explosives and Dangerous Goods
TLI D16 07D - Load and Unload Explosives and Dangerous Goods
You will also receive a COURSE MANUAL & LAMINATED HAZCHEM CARD
Literacy and Numeracy
As some of the courses run by Transport Forum WA, assume a base level, where literacy and numeracy skills are required, please indicate if assistance with training and assessment services are required.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Refund Cancellation Policy
1.Cancellations can be made by phone, fax, mail, and e-mail or in person.
2.If a cancellation is received 3 or more working days prior to course commencement, the full amount will be refunded.
3.If no cancellation is received at least 3 working days prior to course commencement, full course cost will be charged.
4.Transport Forum WA reserves the right to cancel any course if insufficient bookings are received. Should this occur, those who registered will be informed and their course fees refunded in full or credited to the next scheduled course

“WHO SHOULD ATTEND”
All drivers who carry explosives. This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Australian Code for the Transport of Explosives (Clause 8.4.3.2.c) and the Mines Department requirement for authorisation to carry explosives.
NOTE: You MUST apply for your WA Dangerous Goods Security Card BEFORE commencing this training course. You can apply for this at Australia Post offices.
