Course Category: 1 Day Forklift Course - $215
This course is designed for those operators with significant experience in the operation of a Forklift. It is expected that experienced operators (attending the 1 day course) are confident in loading /unloading a truck/trailer, are able to retrieve pallets from high racking and able to manoeuvre with load through obstacle course. All other persons would be expected to attend the two day course.

Re-test fee $50.00
(Please note there is an additional $76 to be paid to WorkSafe after the training course)
For a confirmed block booking of 6 or more trainees a discount of 10% will apply - not applicable for weekend or onsite training.
Note: These can be booked on different days.
Course Content Includes:
- Safety and legislation
- Pre-start inspections
- Driving
- Lifting, carrying, lowering and setting down loads
- Lifting, carrying, lowering and setting down wide and awkward loads
- Stacking and destacking loads
- Loading and unloading a vehicle
- Parking the forklift
Assessments
Candidates must demonstrate competence in both underpinning knowledge and practical assessment
On successful completion of the course you will receive a Statement of Attainment from: - CERTIFICATE II TRANSPORT & DISTRIBITION (ROAD TRANSPORT)
- TLI D10 07C Operate a Forklift
You will also receive a Forklift manual.
Literacy and Numeracy
As some of the courses run by Transport Forum WA, assume a base level, where literacy and numeracy skills are required, please indicate if assistance with training and assessment services are required
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Transport Forum offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) if you require more information on this service please contact the Training Division Manager.
Refund Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations can be made by phone, fax, mail, and e-mail or in person.
- If a cancellation is received 3 or more working days prior to course commencement, the full amount will be refunded.
- If no cancellation is received at least 3 working days prior to course commencement, full course cost will be charged.
- Transport Forum WA reserves the right to cancel any course if insufficient bookings are eceived. Should this occur, those who registered will be informed and their course fees refunded in full or credited to the next scheduled course.
Under Australian Standard 2359.2 all operators must be 18 years of age.
